The invitation code

Julia Walther Updated by Julia Walther

In the following, the function and use of invitation codes will be defined and the generation of the codes explained.

What is an invitation code and what is it used for?

The invitation code is generated automatically if you invite exclusively by email. If you want to invite by mail, it has to be generated manually before. This personalized six-digit code is printed on the invitation together with the domain, so that the guest will find a personalized (pre-filled) registration form after entering the code on the registration page.

Generate invitation codes in Sweap

When generating a invitation code, you can also change the guest state. You can set the guest state to 'No Reply' or 'Accepted'.

When creating the invitation codes, it makes sense to change the guest status to 'No Reply'. In our system, 'No Reply' is the status for guests who have already been invited - sending invitation codes can in principle be equated with inviting via email from Sweap. However, changing the guest status is not mandatory.

In addition to the incitation code, you can also generate the ticket code in Sweap - more information about ticket codes can be found here.
